Today, I was able to give away over 100 key bottle openers as a reminder to strangers that you are in control of your own destiny. Stop depending on happiness to knock on your door. You are in charge of your own emotional state. Don’t let a boss’s mood, a coworker’s attitude, or someone else’s approval determine whether you have a good day. Your worth isn’t tied to someone else’s behavior. Relying on others for your happiness can leave you vulnerable to disappointment. When you hold the key yourself, you're in control.
